Each shop sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is offered by Hojem Outdoors LLC, DBA Solsberry Deer Processing and Taxidermy LLC (“The Shop”) and is subject to these Official Rules and all applicable laws and regulations.
These Official Rules apply to every Sweepstakes offered by The Shop. Only the entry period, the drawing date, and the prizes differ from one Sweepstakes to the next, and those are listed for each Sweepstakes under SWEEPSTAKES DATES, DRAWINGS & PRIZES below.
Youth Weekend Sweepstakes
Each Sweepstakes will be open only during the entry period listed for that Sweepstakes.
Entries will be accepted through the close of business on the last day of the entry period, when The Shop closes.
To be eligible, the deer must be presented at The Shop before the entry period closes. Deer presented after the entry period has closed will not be eligible for that Sweepstakes.
To enter, an eligible hunter must bring a deer legally harvested by that hunter during the Sweepstakes entry period to Solsberry Deer Processing & Taxidermy during the Sweepstakes entry period.
The Shop will record the hunter’s entry in The Shop’s entry log when the deer is presented, whether or not any goods or services are purchased. No separate registration, entry form, or entry fee is required.
No purchase of processing, taxidermy, merchandise, or any other goods or services is required to enter or win. An eligible hunter may present a legally harvested deer for entry without purchasing any goods or services from The Shop.
Each eligible deer constitutes one (1) Sweepstakes entry. An eligible hunter who presents multiple legally harvested deer may receive one (1) entry for each eligible deer, provided each deer otherwise satisfies these Official Rules.
Each deer may generate only one (1) entry. Purchasing processing, taxidermy, merchandise, or any other goods or services does not provide additional entries or otherwise increase an entrant’s chances of winning.
The Shop may request reasonable documentation or information necessary to verify the hunter, legal harvest, eligibility, and entry.
On the drawing date listed for the Sweepstakes, after the Sweepstakes entry period has closed, the number of winners listed for that Sweepstakes will be selected at random from all eligible entries recorded by The Shop.
The available prizes are those listed for that Sweepstakes.
The prizes are exclusive, meaning each prize may be awarded to only one (1) winner.
Winners will select their prize in the order their entries are drawn. The first winner drawn will have first choice of all available prizes. Each following winner drawn will choose from the prizes that remain. The last winner drawn will receive the remaining prize.
Once a prize has been selected by a winner, that prize is no longer available to subsequent winners.
The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
The approximate retail value of each prize is listed with that Sweepstakes under SWEEPSTAKES DATES, DRAWINGS & PRIZES.
All prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash redemption value. Prizes may not be substituted for cash, other merchandise, services, discounts, or credits.
Unless otherwise specifically stated, prizes do not expire.
For prizes consisting of future services, discounts, gift certificates, or similar credits, The Shop will provide the winner with a certificate or other written documentation identifying the prize and its redemption terms.
Taxidermy-related prizes and certificates are not required to be redeemed for the deer associated with the winning Sweepstakes entry. They may be retained and redeemed for an eligible deer brought to The Shop at a later date. Unless otherwise specifically stated, taxidermy certificates do not expire and may be redeemed in a future season or year.
Physical prizes, including apparel and merchandise, must be picked up in person at Solsberry Deer Processing & Taxidermy during normal business hours or at another pickup time approved by The Shop. Physical prizes will not be shipped unless expressly agreed to by The Shop.
Winners will be notified using the contact information provided to The Shop and may also be announced on The Shop’s website, at The Shop, and/or through The Shop’s social media accounts.
The Shop will make reasonable efforts to contact each winner. If a winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days of the drawing, the prize may be forfeited, and The Shop reserves the right to select an alternate winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.
All prizes must be claimed no later than December 15, 2026. Any prize not claimed by that deadline will be forfeited.
For purposes of these Official Rules, a prize is considered “claimed” when the winner or the winner’s parent or legal guardian has responded to The Shop, confirmed acceptance of the prize, and completed any reasonable verification or documentation requested by The Shop.
Claiming a prize does not require the prize to be redeemed or used by December 15, 2026. A non-expiring certificate or other prize permitting future redemption may be used at a later date in accordance with its applicable terms.
Any forfeited prize may, at The Shop’s discretion, be awarded to an alternate winner selected at random from the remaining eligible entries or left unawarded.
The Youth Weekend Sweepstakes is intended for eligible youth hunters participating in Indiana Youth Deer Weekend. An eligible youth hunter is a youth hunter as defined by the Indiana (or state of harvest) DNR.
The deer used to enter must have been legally harvested by the hunter being entered.
If a selected winner is under eighteen (18) years of age, the prize must be claimed on the winner’s behalf by the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
The youth hunter will remain the designated winner and recipient of the prize, subject to these Official Rules.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants acknowledge and agree that, if selected as a winner, The Shop may publicly announce the winner’s first name and last initial on The Shop’s website, social media accounts, and at The Shop.
For winners under eighteen (18) years of age, no additional identifying information will be published as part of the winner announcement without permission from the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
The Shop reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, or cancel a Sweepstakes when circumstances reasonably require, including, but not limited to, changes in hunting seasons or regulations, severe weather, business interruptions, prize availability, or other circumstances outside The Shop’s reasonable control.
When reasonably necessary, The Shop may adjust Sweepstakes dates, the entry period, drawing date, or available prizes. Any material changes will be communicated through The Shop’s website and/or official social media accounts.
If an advertised prize becomes unavailable, The Shop reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
The Shop is responsible for determining the eligibility and validity of entries, resolving questions concerning the interpretation or application of these Official Rules, and conducting the drawing.
The Shop’s decisions regarding eligibility, entries, the drawing, prize awards, and winners are final, subject to applicable law.
No Sweepstakes is sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta.
By participating, entrants acknowledge that the Sweepstakes is being conducted solely by Hojem Outdoors LLC, DBA Solsberry Deer Processing and Taxidermy LLC and not by any social media platform on which it may be advertised or promoted.
